What we collect
When you use the enquiry form we collect your name, email address, selected consultation type, optional preferred date, and the content of your message. Server logs may record IP address and browser type for security. If you accept analytics cookies, we may collect aggregated page-view data as described on our cookies page.
Purposes and lawful bases
We process enquiry data to respond to your request and, where appropriate, to prepare an advice engagement (legitimate interests and, where you enter a contract, performance of a contract). Analytics cookies run only with consent.
Retention
General website enquiries that do not proceed to an engagement are retained for up to 24 months, then deleted or anonymised. Client files opened under an advice contract follow longer retention periods required for regulated financial advice records in the UK, typically at least five years after the relationship ends, and longer where complaint or legal hold rules apply.
Sharing
We use hosting and email providers who process data on our instructions. We do not sell personal data. We may share information with your accountant or solicitor when you ask us to, or when required by law or a regulator.
International transfers
